Dont let anyone tell you otherwise:
the business environment is full of uncertainty. Secure, established,
competent and successful companies cannot be complacent. New,
young organisations need to be on top of potential risks that
may seriously damage growth. No matter what your business,
the one thing you can guarantee is that a crisis can hit you
at any time.
A pressure group may target one of
your products. There may be an accident with fatal or other
serious consequences. The behaviour of a rival may cause a
crisis of confidence in the entire sector.
So how well would you cope? What would
you do? Who would speak to the media? What would they say?
Would you survive? The cost to your reputation of getting
it wrong can be substantial.
